Dumbarton headed into the playoffs on the back of a good result against mid table brechin.Sons started with a mainly reserve team and this showed as the first half was a bit of a non event but debut boys arnaud gastal and gary mckell showed some promise. The second half was a far more exciting affair.Brechin no10 Charlie King opened the scoring with a good volley into the bottom corner before the introduction of Pat Walker turned the game on its head, first David Gray played in Craig Dargo and the former inverness hitman made no mistake slotting low beyond David Scott.Minutes later it was two-one great play by Gray and Walker on the left opened up crossing space for gray who hit an inch perfect ball to Dargo to head in for number 2.Dargo completed his 17 minute hat-trick with a good header following a stramash infront of goal.Craig molloy gave the game a nervy finish until in the last minute of injury time another debutant Glenn Fergusson squeezed the ball between Scotts legs to settle the game.
