In January 2015 I was given the opportunity to write a fortnightly online column on all things Dumbarton FC for the Lennox Herald. Gradually this became a weekly feature and then, towards the end of the 2015/16 season, it became a print column. All the articles can be read in the paper, but the rest of the time they are just lying in my Google Drive. I therefore thought that I'd stick them up on here (completely unedited) in case anybody had a few hours to kill.
Feel free to laugh at my old opinions that are as delusional as only those a football fan can hold. It should come with a health warning too, there aren't many victories!

As well as writing the opinion column I've also written on other subjects for the Lennox, so I decided to put some of it here too!
As part of a special show focusing on the Scottish Cup draw we produced at Uni, I thought it would be a great idea to jump along to Auchinleck to hear from people connected with the club about their tie with Ayr United.

Ever wanted to hear if my chat is as good in real life as it is on here? Myself and a few other folk at Uni started a semi-regular podcast taking a more niche look at Scottish football.
January 2017 saw the start of our magazine journalism module at UWS. Going into it with a group of like minded people we managed to build up the quite wonderful (in my opinion) Oné Upfront - a magazine covering everything lower league, featuring plenty of interviews with fascinating guys, some glorious photography and plenty more besides.
Given that our lecturer was absent for half the trimester we had to work fairly independently, and that meant learning magazine design almost from scratch. It was the sort of thing that felt as if it would never finish - but thankfully it did, and you can catch the end results by clicking on the button below.
Happy reading!

Being a fan of a lower league team has plenty of benefits, and one of them is the opportunity to get involved with the club. After dropping into the playoffs (we'll gloss over how they went) I helped market the game for Dumbarton Football Club by producing a few videos and infographics to use on the club's social media channels.
